2014 – Central Texas Environmental Summit


The Central Texas Environmental Summit is a free, educational event to bring together the public, political leaders, neighborhood associations, nonprofits, businesses, and students to learn about and discuss solutions to environmental issues in Central Texas. The TCEQ will host the summit in Bastrop on Monday, December 8, 2014.

Overview and Sponsors

Texans living and working in Central Texas are invited to attend the Central Texas Environmental Summit on Monday, Dec. 8, at the Bastrop Convention & Exhibit Center in Bastrop.

This year’s summit is cosponsored by State Senator Kirk Watson, District 14, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The summit’s mission is to give stakeholders the opportunity to work together on seeking solutions to environmental challenges in the community. The summit will include presentations on environmental topics that affect Central Texas. Attendees will also have an opportunity to visit exhibits and talk to experts from various state and local agencies.
